Revisions give clients the ability to request changes to a freelancer’s delivery, while giving freelancers additional time to refine their work and meet client expectations.

Revisions are optional and depend on what the freelancer has chosen to offer in their Gig.
👉 If a freelancer offers revisions, they should be ready to address reasonable client requests.

What Does "Rejected" Mean?

When a client requests revisions, the order status updates to Rejected.

This means the delivery has been sent back for changes.

The freelancer must re-submit the work after making the requested updates.

⚠️ Note: “Rejected” does not mean the freelancer is refusing to do revisions—it simply means the client has requested changes.

Tips for More Effective Revisions

For Clients

Be clear and specific when describing the changes you want.

Always click the Yes/No buttons when prompted, to ensure your revision request is properly recorded.

If the order status still shows as Delivered, your revision request did not go through.

Revisions must be requested within 3 days of delivery—after that, the order is automatically marked as Completed.

For Freelancers

Carefully review the client’s feedback before re-delivering.

Use revisions as an opportunity to strengthen trust and ensure the client’s satisfaction.

Maintain clear communication if something in the request is unclear or outside the original scope.
