Personalized Offers (Briefs) for Clients on GigMug

GigMug makes it simple to connect with the right freelancers by using personalized project briefs. With the help of AI, you can quickly create a professional brief that clearly explains your project goals, budget, and timeline. Once submitted, GigMug matches you with freelancers who fit your needs—making it easier to find the right expert for your project.

How It Works

Step 1: Posting Your Brief

Write a short description of your project, including budget and timeline.

Example: I need an e-commerce website built for my new product line. It should include updated company branding. My budget is $1,200, and I need it finished in 4 weeks.

Click “Generate Brief.” GigMug’s AI will transform your description into a polished professional brief.

Review your brief, specify whether it’s a one-time project or ongoing work, and add extra details such as:

Ideal candidate skills

Budget and timeline (mandatory)

Click “Post Your Brief” to submit your request.

Step 2: Sharing Your Brief with Freelancers

GigMug will automatically share your project brief with freelancers that best match your requirements.

Freelancers are displayed as either “Perfect Match” or “Partial Match” based on how closely they meet your preferences.

For certain project scopes or budgets, you may need to manually invite freelancers. In this case, you’ll receive a curated list of suitable freelancers and can invite them directly.

How to Invite Freelancers

Open the “Invite Freelancers” tab on your briefs page.

Review freelancer profiles to check past work, skills, and ratings.

Click “Send Invitation” to request an offer.

You’ll also see how well the freelancer matches your brief before sending the invite.
👉 Pro Tip: Invite multiple freelancers to improve your chances of receiving the best tailored offers.

Step 3: Receiving Offers

All freelancer offers will appear in the “Offers” tab. Here, you can:

Compare multiple offers side by side.

Click “View Offer” to review details, pricing, and timelines.

Contact freelancers directly from the offer page if they need extra details or if you have questions.

Once you find the right offer:

Click Accept to begin your project.

After the work is completed, mark your order as Completed.
✅ You can also hire more than one freelancer by accepting multiple offers for the same project.

Managing Your Briefs

All created briefs can be found on your “Briefs” page, where you’ll see:

Brief Title → The name of your request.

Status → Live, Inactive, Hired, Rejected, or No Invites Sent.

Summary → A quick overview of your project.

Action → Manage or edit your brief.

Tip: The more details you add to your brief, the easier it will be for freelancers to understand your needs and deliver the best results.
