Invoices on GigMug
For every order made on GigMug, we generate an invoice so you can easily track your purchases, cancellations, and deposits. Depending on your country, invoices may also serve as valid documents for tax purposes.
You can manage and download all your invoices directly from your Billing History page.
Adding Billing Information Before Payment
On the checkout page, before confirming payment, you’ll see your current billing information.
Use the Add details button to add or update your billing details before completing the order.
These details (such as full name, company name, address, and tax ID) will appear on your invoices.
Types of Invoices
GigMug issues different types of documents for financial tracking:
Invoice – for purchases.
Credit Invoice – for cancellations or refunds.
Receipt – confirmation of completed payments.
By default, all invoices include your username and country. Adding full details on your Billing Info page ensures your invoices are complete and tax-compliant.
Invoices for GigMug Pro Accounts
Admins and billing managers of GigMug Pro accounts can download original invoices from the Billing History page.
If you’re subscribed to the Advanced Pro plan, you can also request custom invoice reports for more detailed financial tracking.
How to Access Your Invoices
Original invoices (since mid-2021): Download from the Billing History page.
Older invoices (before mid-2021): View them on individual order pages (under the Details tab).
Invoice Currency & Delivery
Invoices are issued in the currency of your transaction.
You can download invoices anytime from your account.
You may also request invoices via email or through Customer Support if needed.
⚠️ Important: Once an account is deleted, invoices cannot be reissued or modified. Please download any required documents before requesting account deletion.
Why Billing Information Matters
Taxes are calculated based on the billing information you provide. For example, in the U.S., sales tax may vary by state.
Country-Specific GST Exemptions
To avoid Goods & Services Tax (GST) charges at checkout, update your billing info accordingly:
Australia – Add your ABN (Australian Business Number) and indicate GST registration.
New Zealand – Add your NZ GST number and indicate GST registration.
Israeli Tax Invoices
If you’re located in Israel and need tax invoices from before 2022 that weren’t sent by email:
Contact Customer Support.
Provide your order numbers and timeframe (e.g., April 2021).

Do I have to pay tax on services I buy?
Taxes are applied based on your billing location and local regulations.
How do I get an invoice labeled as “Original”?
Invoices available in your Billing History are already official originals.
Can I update billing info for past purchases?
Billing details only apply to future invoices. Past invoices cannot be updated.
Can I merge multiple invoices into one?
You can request a custom invoice report (available with Advanced Pro subscriptions).
Can I view invoices on the mobile app?
Yes, invoices can be accessed and downloaded through mobile.
